The Statutes of APAA provide for two bodies:  the Management Board to run the Association’s affairs on a day-to-day basis and the Fiscal Council to oversee the way in which the Management Committee carries out its responsibilities.

Members of the Board and the Fiscal Council serve for a period of two years after which, if they wish to continue, they must seek re-election at the Annual General Assembly.

The Members of the Association meet in Annual General Assembly, normally in March, when the Report and Accounts are presented:  certain other business can be transacted at these meetings.   As and when necessary Extraordinary General Assemblies are held during the year if Members’ approval has to be sought for specific purposes as set out in the Statutes.
